Institute of Education, Health and Social Science
We wish to appoint a Lecturer with expertise in Education, Special Needs and Disability (SEND) Studies to teach on a range of Education programmes.
Working as part of an established team, you will contribute to the teaching of a range of modules on the BA (Hons) Education, Special Needs and Disability degree, the MA in Inclusive Special Education and the National Award for SENCO programme. You will also contribute to other programmes within the Education department, for example, the BA (Hons) Education or Initial Teacher Education programmes, where appropriate.
Candidates should have appropriate teaching qualifications and extensive relevant experience. It is essential you have broad knowledge, experience and skills in SEND education together with the energy, enthusiasm, organisational skills and flexibility which will contribute to enhancing the student experience. Successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities. Experience of teaching and assessing at undergraduate level will be an advantage.
