An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer in Criminology to join our diverse team of academics who are all passionate about their specialisms and dedicated to providing an outstanding student experience. The successful candidate will reflect these qualities and will make a positive contribution to our vibrant research culture and excellent student learning experience.

Candidates for the position should have a strong track record of research in any area of Criminology which complements current research in the Institute, evidenced by successful independent research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding.

Working with the academic staff team and students, you will among other activities, make a key contribution to designing, developing and delivering new and existing undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.

Ideally, candidates will have a broad range of research methods, knowledge and skills. You must also be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will be committed to ensuring that our students are well supported and enjoy their experience with us.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and enjoy working as a member of the team.
