Part Time Marketing Assistant

Highly successful privately-owned business based in the North Chailey area has a newly created opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative marketing professional to join their dynamic business. They're looking for 2-3 days a week during which time you'd assist the Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager carry out day to day tasks and help in the overall running of the department.

Overview of role:

• Assist in written content for the brand including blogs, product descriptions, catalogue, website and social media copy
• Assisting in photography set-ups and prop researching
• Participating in creative brainstorms and bringing valuable ideas to the team
• Assist in the scheduling and writing of social media posts
• Monitor social media channels and propose activity and ideas to increase engagement
• Assist on page changes from the SEO agency to constantly improve and optimize SEO performance
• Undertake keyword research when required
• Maintain content and planning calendars
• Assist in the management of products on the website
• Use Mailchimp to help create customer newsletters, test, deploy, report and analyse the results
• Assist in finding analytics for the monthly report using Google Analytics
• Find concepts and ideas for press releases as well as assisting in the writing
• Help with responses to company and product reviews on TrustPilot, Google and Social Media

Requirements:

• Experience in marketing, writing and / or PR
• A working knowledge of Google Analytics and an understanding of marketing metrics
• Understanding of what writing style is needed for newspapers, magazines, bloggers and influencers
• Great copywriting skills and experience in producing content for social channels
• A working knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience of using an email programme
• Genuine enthusiasm for marketing, especially digital
• A creative eye
