Do you have experience of coordinating shipping for a Warehouse? Managing picking, packing of parts?

A Warehouse Coordinator is required by a local firm to support the Manager in coordinating activities and a team in a warehouse.

What will you be doing?

• Co-ordination of all activities relating to the Picking, Packing Shipping of all parts
• Co-ordination of all goods in
• Carry out process audits and focus on continual improvement of all process steps
• Ensure all pick lists are complete and accurate prior to being issued to picker for daily and weekly plans
• Post pick lists on the Stock Control System
• Identify shortages as soon as the picks are completed including QA, Stock Discrepancies etc. and made available for shipping
• Ensure sufficient staffing for both domestic and international shipping
• Goods are correctly packed and labelled to meet all international regulations of destination country and paperwork correct to meet international regulations.
• Scheduling and ordering of shipping containers for all international picks
• Pre Manifests and Final Manifest
• To ensure stock levels are corrected where necessary and shortages delivered are picked and sent as priority
• Daily / Weekly International Calls to cover: air and sea shipments, QA issues, urgent partsm build progress

What do you need?

• Previous experience of working in a warehouse, ideally in supervising shipments, picking and packing.
• Strong administration and ERP / MRP experience

• Rate of pay £11.22 per hour (£21,587 salary equivalent) rising to £12.45 after 3 months
