Do you have some experience in providing first line support? Missed out on a degree but want to pursue a career in technology with the opportunity to progress, learn and possibly take qualifications in the future?

An expanding multi-award-winning company is seeking an additional First Line Support Engineer to join their team.

What will you be doing?

  • Logging incoming calls and emails and first-fix; escalation
  • Setting up new systems, laptop builds and induction
  • Active Directory administration (creating and managing users, groups and permissions)
  • Office 365 / Exchange On-line administration
  • Basic network administration and troubleshooting
  • End user OS patch management
  • Administration of anti-virus/malware systems
  • Administration of laptop backup system

What will you be doing?

  • Some first line IT support experience
  • Supporting Windows and Mac desktop operating systems (Linux experience a distinct advantage) Demonstrable understanding of networking fundamentals (i.e. TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, Switches)
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Desire to continuously enhance knowledge
