A strong, independent Sussex firm of chartered accountants are looking to welcome a Payroll Assistant to their office in Lewes. Based a short walk from Lewes railway station, the office has good transport links by train and bus as well as onsite parking. This role is a position with support and progression and would suit someone looking to develop their payroll skills.

About You:

• You must have experience working in an accountancy practice
• Possibly hold a payroll qualified although not essential
• Happy working for multiple clients
• Confident processing and managing payroll
• Comfortable using Sage 50 payroll and Bright Pay ideally
• Confident Communicator with Directors, Managers and Clients
• First class presentation and communication skills
• High degree of accuracy
