Nursery Practitioner / Senior Practitioner Vacancy

Salary £17,000 - £20,000 per annum with growth potential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring and attentive NURSERY PRACTITIONER or SENIOR PRACTITIONER to join our expanding team. We offer a highly competitive salary, one half day off per week and opportunities for career progression and professional development.
This is a full time position but part time / job share arrangements may be possible for the right candidate.
Secret Garden Montessori Childcare is a small, and extremely popular, nursery and farm school situated on the outskirts of Horsham, close to Billingshurst, Broadbridge Heath and Cranleigh. Own transport is essential.
We provide a high quality childcare service and children attending enjoy private access to our own five acre grounds and woodlands including the new 'Secret Garden Farm' with ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, ducks and more!

Qualifications

A full and relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification at level 3 or above is essential for this role
Paediatric First Aid at level 3 is highly desirable

Experience

Recent experience of caring for children in 0-5 age range in a nursery/childcare environment is essential

Knowledge & skills

Secure, working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and experience of observations, assessment and planning is essential
