Salary details: Teaching Assistant - £15,377 - £15,809 Per annum (pro-rata) Midday Supervisory Assistant - £15,013 Per annum (pro-rata)
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the Role
Saxon Mount School is a successful special academy for secondary aged young people with autism, communication and associated learning difficulties.
Responsibilities include assisting teachers in curriculum delivery, preparing resources and providing lunchtime supervision. Candidates will need to demonstrate an understanding of children with special needs. Candidates with experience or qualifications in supporting communication and/or behavioural difficulties will be well placed to apply, although those with other qualifications / experience may also be considered.
Applications are particularly welcome from graduates or those with successful experience of further / higher education who are interested in a longer term career in teaching.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
