I am working closwely with my client, a reputable and financially stable manufacturing company near Gatwick, to recruit for a full-time and permanent Senior Assistant Accountant.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working full-time, this role entails:

• Journal entries
• General Ledger
• Accruals & Prepayments
• Variance Analysis assistance
• Balance Sheet Reconcilaitions
• Assisting with management accounts preparation
• Overseeing AR, AP and Treasury activities

The ideal candidate for this ROLE WILL:

• Drive and own a car (due to rural location)
• Be AAT qualified or be qualified by experience
• Have strong experience (over a number of years) in the above duties
• Have experience within a manufacturing (ideally stock-focussed) type environment
• Be available in under a month's notice
• Have advanced Excel skills
