An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring and attentive NURSERY PRACTITIONER to join our fun and friendly team. We offer a competitive salary, paid holiday and opportunities for professional development including training in Montessori philosophy and pedagogy.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a passion for children and childcare and be qualified to at least level 2, Early Years/Childcare or equivalent qualification
• Experienced with caring for children in 0-5 age range in a nursery or childcare environment
• Have a solid understanding of the EYFS and be able to create engaging learning environments for the children
• Be a team player who is able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to accept responsibility
• Be proactive, self-motivated and have a keen eye for health and safety and safeguarding, ideally holding a Paediatric First Aid qualification at level 3

This is a full time position.

Secret Garden Montessori Childcare is a 'nursery at home' situated on the outskirts of Horsham (in Slinfold), and is near to Billingshurst, Broadbridge Heath and Cranleigh.

We provide a high quality childcare service and children attending enjoy private access to our own five acre grounds including the new 'Secret Garden Farm' with ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats and more!
