As Compliance Manager you'll have responsibility for health and safety, environmental and quality standards to drive a growing business.

What does the role involve?

  • Develop and implement an H&S management system suitable to achieve accreditation under the Safe Contractors assessment scheme, CHAS, Achilles and OHSAS[please apply by clicking on the blue button on this web page].
  • Develop and implement an environmental management system suitable to achieve accreditation to ISO[please apply by clicking on the blue button on this web page].
  • Develop and implement a quality management system suitable to achieve accreditation to ISO 9001.
  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and continuously improve.
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
  • Drive and lead technical performance, whilst providing input into the management of the business in its pursuit of continuous performance improvement and compliance with legislation.
  • Manage the GDPR policy and procedures and integrate them within the business.
  • Advise site management & staff on health and safety and environmental matters, operating effective control over sites, including Health & Safety and CDM requirements.
  • Conduct site health & safety and environmental compliance audits (including regular site inspections)
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations
  • Deliver induction programs to staff, contractors and develop procedures to ensure compliance onsite at builds, ensuring any incidents investigated
  • First Aid and Fire Warden for the office

What do you need?

  • Strong IT skills (All Microsoft packages) and strong attention to detail
  • NEBOSH H&S qualification
  • Knowledge & understanding of CHAS, Achilles and OHSAS[please apply by clicking on the blue button on this web page]
  • Knowledge & understanding of ISO[please apply by clicking on the blue button on this web page] management system
  • Knowledge & understanding of CDM regulations
  • Knowledge & understanding of GDPR regulations
  • Full and Clean Driving License
  • Fire Warden and First Aid qualifications would be desirable
