An on-line and app business seeking to grow revenues from £40M to £100M+ is recruiting for a Sales Director to manage a small global sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Sales Director or Sales Manager with a background in tech or travel looking to step up, with a proven track record of winning new business and maximizing existing business to deliver rapid growth.

Duties will include:

  • Building and delivering the sales strategy for the business, to exceed individual, team and company targets, optimising live accounts to maximise sales to agreed targets which you will set, together with sales bonuses and incentive schemes.
  • Agreeing commercial terms with trade partners
  • Individually actively source and deliver significant new business
  • Agree and set promotional and strategic campaigns and incentives with applicable accounts, always within the agreed commercial terms for the business
  • Source, monitor and report all competitor activity, analyse and monitoring of all sales management information, identifying trends, reporting to board

Essential Skills:

  • Current understanding of the digital landscape, market development, trends, & technology and an ability to use this knowledge to incorporate this into the sales strategy
  • An understanding and familiarity with API, white label and other solutions where technology is driving the business and the ability to work with the technology resource to make sure integrations are managed from initial conversation to go live and bookings made
  • 10 years+ of global B2B sales, business development, partnership management (B2B2C), sales management and marketing experience
  • Over-achieved against multi-million pound targets
  • Data driven decision mentality and sound business judgement through strong analytical thinking
  • Leadership in a travel tech, marketplace/aggregator, or eCommerce technology company
  • Experience of B2C advantageous
  • To have worked in a start-up environment, understanding the entrepreneurial nature of businesses at this stage.
  • An understanding of Venture Capital and/or Private Equity backed businesses is desirable.

This position will be based in Woking office, not remote or home working. Remuneration is competitive and includes Bonus and Share sale (probably 3xsalary).25 days holiday + BH, Healthcare, Dental, eye care, pension, annual 12.5% bonus, Perk Box, Parking for management.
