As the NCS Support Worker you will be expected to ensure a high quality service for young people and achieve all contract targets.  The NCS Support Worker will also be responsible for supporting the Senior NCS Coordinator to develop graduation events that celebrate young people''s achievements and also to ensure that young people are supported to plan for ongoing volunteering. The NCS programme includes residential experiences for the participants

which the NCS Support Worker may be involved in delivering.

?Key Tasks

·         To recruit and convert expressions of interest to full sign ups as per targets set in Lewes for Autumn and Summer delivery

·         To organise and co-facilitate keep warm activities with the Senior NCS Coordinator to meet the target of 100% turn ups

·         To support the Senior NCS Coordinator to monitor the recruitment of young people to meet targets including social mix

·         To organise at least 2 good quality social action opportunities for each team recruited

·         To organise venues for the delivery of the various phases within the NCS programme

·         To follow up with NCS graduates to enable a minimum of 25% of NCS graduates to complete 30 hours of post graduate social action

·         When needed, to deliver NCS as a member of the delivery team ensuring quality standards are met

·         To support delivery staff during the busy times of the year (mainly Autumn and Summer)

·         To record all data as per contractual requirement
