This role sits within the Provider Payments team in Lewes who are part of our Business Operations Department in Orbis making payments to Providers commissioned by the Adult Social Care Department (ASC). The Provider Payments team make 30,000 payments totalling £126m each year. We operate flexibly within an agile environment to make best use of our office space e.g. the majority of the team use laptops enabling them to work from home 1-day a week and some work a 9-day fortnight.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Input invoices and reconcile scheduled payments within the ContrOCC financial system;
- Ensure timely and accurate payments are made to Providers;
- Deal with Provider payment queries;
Our goals/recent achievements within the Provider Payments team are:
- Developing provider payment information packs;
- Roll out of a provider portal;
- Improved upload facility;
To succeed in this role you’ll be a great communicator with good MS Office skills and possess an eye for detail along with a real passion for delivering awesome customer service in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Your ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines within a team environment will be essential. - Financial systems experience with excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills;

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
