With you, with the child…Every step of the way

We’re working together as one professional team, in an environment based on high challenge and high support, creating more positive outcomes for the children and families in our care. As a leadership team we will stand at your side, supporting you every step of the way

Join us as a frontline social work manager, and you’ll be empowered. With experienced people around you and a senior leadership team backing you up, you’ll be in an environment in which you can focus on real social work and the child’s journey. We’re talking manageable caseloads, good access to administrative support and reflective supervision. Add excellent training including five guaranteed days of CPD per year, and it’s a winning formula.

Passionate about making a difference, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a small group of social workers and other staff, providing expert supervision, mentoring /coaching and supporting the development of reflective and relationship based practice. You will also need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. You also need to let us know details of your referees and HCPC registration details. The Assessment and Intervention Service has been redesigned to focus on providing more children with help at an earlier stage. The goal is to provide more interventions, alongside assessment and effective planning for children to ensure that there is sustainable positive change. The teams work closely with a range of partners including those delivering Early Help. All work is under pinned by the Signs of Safety Model and the child’s experience is at the heart of our service: which means that everything we do and the way we do it can be explained in terms of impact and best outcome for the child.
