As Department Administrator, you will provide efficient, effective and professional administrative support to the staff, students and other stakeholders in the Department of English & Creative Writing as well as providing support and acting as a central point of contact for students studying joint honours degrees in the Humanities subjects.
With high standards of customer service, with a helpful and empathetic approach, you will offer a professional enquiry response service that is student centred and supports the needs of Departmental and other University staff (in person, by telephone, and through written correspondence).
The successful applicant will have high levels of accuracy and the ability to effectively prioritise workload, often from different individuals with competing time lines. You will also manage the distribution of assignment schedules, the receipt and return of completed assignments to students, requiring excellent organisational and time management skills.
This is a part time position working 26 hours per week.
