About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Learning Disability Services.
We are looking for an aspirational and motivated Service Manager to take our cross county services in to the next level (CQC Outstanding Rating!).
Are you:
- Passionate about supporting and enabling people to live the life they want to live?
- Able to inspire and lead teams of staff to deliver high quality services?
- Experienced in managing social care services?
As Service Manager you will support and develop teams to provide responsive support for people with a learning disability to pursue their chosen lifestyle and connect with their community. You will be responsible for supporting, supervising and providing clear management of a skilled staff team to maintain good quality standards in services. You will be able to demonstrate excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
You will receive excellent training opportunities and support through induction and supervision as part of our commitment to you.
The role will require travelling so you will need to demonstrate how you will meet the travel requirements.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
