About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Administration Support Officer to join our small but dynamic team within Children’s Services.

This role will be to provide administrative support to the Principal Social Worker including minuting of meetings and diary management. You will need to be a great communicator with the skills to liaise with service users, a variety of professionals and other partner organisations. You will have strong MS Office skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service.

This is a fast-paced and often autonomous role meaning you will need to be a highly organised, able to prioritise and work proactively.

Additional Information

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
