About the Role
Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It’s fast-paced and varied, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.
Working in the Equality and Participation Team, you will be supporting the work of the team, including supporting direct work with young people, in particular the Youth Cabinet.
You will provide administrative support, being a daily point of contact for the team, and supporting the organisation of meetings and events.
You’ll be a great communicator with strong MS Office skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service. In return for your commitment, we offer on-going training and development opportunities.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
