About the Role

Ocklynge Junior School is going through a rapid time of change and will shortly become part of the South Downs Learning Trust.

Would you like to come and join a brilliant dedicated hard working team and support our work to rapidly improve our school.

We have three posts available for the new school year with various hours. 1 x 17 hours per week across 5 mornings. 2 x 25 hours per week across 5 days.

These hours could also be extended as we also have MDSA posts available.

The contracts will initially be fixed term for 1 year.

We wish to appoint someone who:

Has experience of working in Key Stage 2 Has ability to enthuse and inspire children to learn. Is experienced in the Thrive approach or can demonstrate they have knowledge of Thrive. Can engage sympathetically with children with SEND whilst being firm and assertive Has a creative personality Has high expectations of children Has good interpersonal skills and can work well in a team

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
