About the Role

Ocklynge Junior School are looking to appoint a class teacher to job share in a year 6 class From January 2018 on a part time, permanent basis. (0.6fte) NQT’s are welcome to apply.

The governors wish to appoint a highly motivated class teacher who have very high expectations to work with our team. Recently qualified teachers as well as experienced individuals are welcome to apply.

Ocklynge is currently in a new phase of its history and changing rapidly. In October we will become part of the newly formed South Downs Learning Trust with Ratton School and be extending our Forest School provision.

This opportunity will appeal to a professional who: - has experience in KS2; - is highly skilled, innovative, imaginative and inspiring; - is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and parents/carers; - has the skills needed to challenge, extend, support and motivate children; - has a secure knowledge of current educational issues; - Is fully committed to equality of opportunity.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
