This is an exciting opportunity to join the Property Team in Legal Services at West Sussex County Council to cover maternity leave for twelve months. You will be part of a busy professional team delivering a quality service to the Council in the area of commercial property.

You will be a legal executive or solicitor with a background in all aspects of commercial property work. Previous local government experience is not essential.

The post requires good communication skills and involves a varied caseload involving mainly commercial landlord and tenant matters, Academy conversions and general advisory work to client departments in the Council .

You will have a good knowledge of commercial property law together with a commercial approach to all areas of your work. A willingness to be proactive is essential.
