Aspire Sussex Ltd plans, promotes and delivers vibrant adult education across Sussex, enabling people to achieve their aspirations.

We are looking for additional Silvercraft tutors in Southbourne to join our Community Learning Faculty team to deliver sessional courses to adults (19 years plus) from September 2017. We are currently recruiting for the following course:

Course: Silvercraft – Mixed Ability
Location: Southbourne
Day: Wednesday
Start time: 19:00
End Time: 21:00
Start Date:20 September 2017
End Date: 29 November 2017

Further courses may be available to teach following the above sessions. There may also be potential, at a later stage, to teach in other parts of the county.

Applicants should have a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification, a professional qualification in Silversmithing and significant professional practice. They should be able to adapt teaching and learning strategies and select resources as appropriate, in order to meet student needs.

In addition, applicants will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead, develop and motivate adult students to achieve their learning goals. Excellent record keeping skills and the ability to demonstrate relevant ICT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and Internet will also be needed.
