About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to provide administrative support to the Community Fire Safety Team, primarily based at Eastbourne Fire Station.
As the role predominantly focusses on telephoning highly vulnerable members of the public, the successful candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills and have empathy with the clients. They will also have the ability to work unsupervised, and prioritise the management of variable workloads within tight deadlines. Previous experience of working within an office environment providing administrative support is required.
Specific duties will include:
- To telephone Highly Vulnerable members of the public to book a Home Safety Visit. - Update the relevant CSA Teams and Stations electronic diaries with appointments and update the relevant databases. - To provide support, including diary management to members of the Community Fire Safety Team and where required the Community Safety Department (CSD). - To receive and process requests for CFST and CSD services from members of the public.
Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
