Job ref: CWH50/Jun16   This is an opportunity to use your skills and initiative to realise the plan of providing a lively and vibrant centre and café which meet the needs of local people.   The Hop50 is open 7 days a week providing a range of activities for people aged 50   Location: The Hop50 , Palmeira Square, Hove, East Sussex BN3 2FL   Hours: 12 hours p/w (Tuesday & Wednesday)   Salary band 1, NJC Point 11-17, £16,305 - £17,772 per annum pro rata / £8.45 per hour   Plus incentives: pension 27 days annual leave (pro rata)   You will be responsible for:

• Working as part of the team ensuring that the café feels vibrant, professional and is a welcoming place for people to use.
• Preparing a range of meals, lighter options and beverages for customers.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Enthusiasm and commitment to providing a high quality café service for up to 40 people per day
• A certificate in Food Hygiene or willingness to undertake
• An interest in contributing ideas to ensure the ongoing success of the café.
