The MASH works with agencies to identify risks to families who need support and identifies if a child or children are at risk of harm and require protection. The MASH considers all the county wide referrals / concerns, then after requesting information from other agencies makes decisions about which agency can provide the best service for the family. This includes those at risk of CSE, missing and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking children. The main focus of this service is to fully utilise the skills of our partner agencies and make a decision using the continuum of need of how best to safeguard children and young people.
