Pod Manager: We require a Pod Manager to job share the management of one of our small teams, of up to 7 social workers, which support children from the assessment stage all the way through their journey in our system. As a skilled and knowledgeable social work practitioner, you will have the ability to inspire and lead other social workers. You will be able to provide support and containment for social workers at the same time as being accountable for the performance of a team delivering complex services. As well as a commitment to good outcomes for vulnerable children at all levels you will be able to support relationship-based practice across the team, promoting and modelling the values of this practice and our organisation. Your social workers will have trust and confidence in you and you will demonstrate authority and accountability. You will lead on both individual and group supervision and be committed to the continuing development of our staff. This role is crucial in making our model of practice work, as it is the key management role, being responsible for decision-making within the social work team and reporting directly to a Head of Service who is part of the Senior Management Team
