Salary: £38,237 to £41,025
1 based in Crawley
Interview date: 7th July 2017

Through the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System, we will work with children, families, and young people to help ensure that every child, family and young person is supported to achieve his or her potential. The foundations for future mental health, emotional control, intelligence and parenting ability are all set in place in the early years and the home surroundings, family life and parenting are all important factors in determining positive outcomes for children in the future.

The Team Leader of the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help Service will be an operational and system leader providing vision, direction, leadership and support to the Family Support workforce in order to develop and sustain the provision of high quality, integrated early support that improves outcomes for children and families.

The Team Leader will work closely with the Hub System management to embed a culture of family centered, needs driven, holistic, accountable, high-performing, compliant services across the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help Service. This role requires confident, ambitious leadership which changes the lives of local children, young people and families and will require the post holder to work in a very challenging environment – ensuring partnership working to support families at the right time, from the right level and type of support. They will lead on the targeting of services to agreed priority groups; lead on embedding the use of integrated tools and processes; lead on planning around appropriate pathway forums; build local partnership family support networks and encourage the development of evidence based practice.

The role will also develop, lead and sustain commitment from partners working with families in Local areas to provide positive outcomes for children and adults. These include the Local Authority schools, District Councils, Borough Councils, CCGs, NHS Acute Trusts, specialist health providers, the police and national and voluntary organisations to ensure collaborative working and service integration.

Specifically the Process Team Leader is responsible for the intake and assessment of all work coming into the Hub as well as management of Forum, MARAC and the Advisory Boards. They will also be responsible for the promotion and capacity building of the use of Early Help Plans with wider partners such as early years providers, schools and health.
