Mid Sussex Centres Activity Worker 10 flexible hours a week Hours will be between 9.30 – 4pm, Monday to Friday. Salary 8.24 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person who would enjoy assisting members in our centres in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. You will be running activities and encouraging our members to join in; these will include groups such as discussion, art and craft, plus chair-based exercise for which you will receive training, as well as serving lunch.  A friendly and fun disposition is essential as well as some experience of running activities for older people.

This position requires great flexibility as the hours will not be the same every week and you will be required to cover staff holiday, sickness and other absence at either centre, some of which may be at short notice. We will be moving to a brand new centre in Haywards Heath in the spring and it is an exciting time to join our committed small teams of staff and volunteers in a hands-on enjoyable support role.  This role will initially be for six months whilst we are waiting to receive funding news.
