We are recruiting for a qualified or part qualified experienced Commercial Accountant to support the Finance Director of our client based in Chichester.

Our client is a fast expanding Company which requires a pro-active attitude the resolution of accounting issues in a changing environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining the books and records of the Group Companies and manage the cash on a month to month basis, maintaining the integrity of the accounting system, along with liaising with Project Management and Sales Order Management to ensure product margins are maintained at the desired levels and that delivery and installation costs are recovered.

A competitive salary is offered of £35,000 to £40,000, Hours of work 8.30-5.00, 23 days leave rising to 28 days, plus pension.

Responsibilities include preparing Monthly Management Accounts, VAT, Monthly and mid-month update of project summary, project liaison, Contract Applications and Retentions, maintaining a monthly review of Stock and GRNI balances, Gross Profit Reconciliation, Audit File Preparation, Weekly update of timesheets. You will also be overseeing payroll, sales & purchase ledger and cash flow.
