Finance Assistant

£18,000 depending on experience

A rapidly expanding group of Companies are looking to grow their Finance team who are responsible for handling clients' money, reconciling bank statements and paying clients when their funds are due back to them.

Skills needed:-

• Part-qualification in an accountancy or tax discipline or possessing a relevant degree / A level qualification (Accounts, Finance or Business)
• Must have at least 6 months working within an office environment
• Highly organised and methodical
• Flexible approach
• Good experience in data entry
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
• Be able to work within a team environment

Duties include but will not be limited to:-

• Administration and control of clients banks accounts
• Fully investigate anomalies and liaise with Credit Controller to provide information to assist recovering monies
• Assist in the conversion of direct debits and standing orders
• Assist other members of the team as required and provide cover during absences
