You will be working in a residential school for boys with EBD and social issues, focusing on providing a positive and safe environment for the young people to flourish and succeed, your aim will be to ensure they realise their potential and set clear life goals.

The school is residential so your working day is focused around assisting the boys to get to lessons and then assisting in the evenings with homework and after school activities. As a support worker you will be expected to be flexible and open minded to new activities and change.

Your hours will be shift based and will include sleep ins, sleep in shifts will be paid at a competitive rate and you will be part of a very well established staff team with excellent support from management and senior staff.

Focus on training and staff development is very high here and the NVQ 3 is available plus other specialist training.
