The West Sussex Community Wellbeing Service is a preventative and recovery focused service model including one to one support, peer mentoring and a choice of service options including a community programme for those experiencing mental health difficulties. You will be joining us at a time of exciting service development and will have the opportunity to help shape the service in a time of change for local mental health Tier 2 services. We are currently recruiting for a pivotal role in our service an Assistant Manager who has experience of working with our client group or with a similar client group. You will need to have experience of providing line management to support staff to provide a high quality service and manage their caseloads and other tasks ensuring an outcome's focused approach, good organisational skills and be able to prioritise a varied workload across a diverse geographical area. A current driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable. Part of your role will involve assessing new clients entering the service ensuring clients and referrers are communicated with in a timely manner and that pathways are clear. You will lead on the development of the community programme ensuring a choice of activities and programmes promoting social, mental and physical wellbeing.
