We are currently looking for a tutor to deliver a one day DIY Basics - Carpentry course commencing October 2016; the successful candidate will join our Community Learning Faculty team, delivering sessional courses to adults (19 years and older). Please see the full course details below: Title: DIY Basics - Carpentry Location: Ifield Community College, Crawley Date: Saturday 8th October Time: 10:00 – 16:00 Further courses may be available for the successful applicant to teach in the Spring and Summer terms. Applicants should ideally have a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification along with relevant experience of the subject. They should also be able to adapt teaching and learning strategies and select resources as appropriate in order to meet student needs. In addition applicants will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead, develop and motivate adult students to achieve their learning goals. Excellent record keeping skills and the ability to demonstrate relevant ICT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and Internet will also be needed.
