Specialist Day Services at Maidenbower Day Centre ensures the independence and safety and well-being of people with physical, sensory or memory impairments and or, and acquired brain injury. Customers will have been assessed as eligible through Adult Services and attend one or more days per week.

The centre are looking to recruit a support worker to join their team. You will be involved in a wide range of activities to encourage and stimulate customers through outcome based, person centred care that promotes independence. The support worker role include escorting customers via the WSCC transport, providing active support with personal and physical care and engaging people in a wide range of activities in a way that is right for them: this can include reminiscence, gentle exercise, arts, crafts and conversation-based activities.

As a support worker you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and be supported and mentored at Maidenbower you will have opportunity to attend training which is relevant to this role.
