Do you have the skills to work effectively with young people that are experiencing emotional wellbeing difficulties?

Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Youth Emotional Support Team (Young People’s Service).
We are seeking dynamic and hard-working individual to join our team of Support workers working to deliver interventions and youth work programmes to young people 11-25 years within the FindItOut centres located in Crawley and Burgess Hill.

You must be able to use your initiative and have a clear understanding of how to support and deliver a range of interventions to young people experiencing challenges that impact on their emotional wellbeing, including improving resilience – you will need to be able to deliver and support group work interventions as well as one to one work.

You must have experience in delivering information, advice and guidance is also required for this role as will be part of the FindItOut team.

A good understanding of safeguarding young people with an ability to work confidently with other agencies and professionals, as well as the enthusiasm to drive this role forward and contribute to the development of this new team.

Part of this role includes travelling to different parts of the county, so a driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

This advert is for 1 full time temporary post at 37 hours per week, lasting 6 months and is to be located in the North of the county (may occasional include flexible working evenings and Saturdays).
