You will work as part of a team within Day Services where the key aim is to support people with high levels of dependency or complex needs and enable every customer at the day centre to be engaged in their local community to the best of their ability. For some customers, this could be through a time-limited programme of targeted support to build confidence and help develop skills of independent living.
The purpose of this role is to encourage and stimulate customers through the provision of outcome based care, that promotes independence, community engagement, enables them to develop and/or maintain daily living skills and to attend to their physical, social, mental and emotional needs, ensuring comfort, safety and wellbeing. You will uphold excellent practice within the team and take daily responsibility for areas of the day centre such as the mobility suite, computer suite, activity rooms or training kitchen, and customer provider plans.
With the ability to work as part of a team, you will have good communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to provide clear and concise advice to a range of customers.
Salary £14,880 to £15,598
Permanent, Full-time - Part-time or flexible working is also welcomed.
Based in Horsham
37 hours per week
