A firm of chartered accountants based in Lewes are recruiting an experienced and competent credit controller to join the firm on a part time basis.

The role will be c20 hours per week and although the client is open on how those hours are allocated, they would ideally like a daily presence in the office.

You will assume sole responsibly of credit control duties and ideally have a professional services background although not essential. A job description is available for all shortlisted candidates.

Selected duties to include:

• Adherence and effective enforcement of credit terms to ensure prompt collection of fees
• Close monitoring of payment terms and chasing clients as appropriate within set timescales
• Build, maintain and strengthen client relations via effective communication
• Liaise with the appropriate Partner, Director, Senior Manager and flag up any potential issues with client payment terms in a timely manner

The salary advertised is the full time equivilent and will prorated accordingly.
